Scholarship

The Columbus Landscape Association (CLA) is pleased to offer scholarships to students pursuing a degree in the green industry.  Up to two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships are awarded each Fall to students of landscape programs at The Ohio State University or Columbus State Community College.

Students applying for the scholarship are encouraged, but not required, to attend a CLA meeting.  The November member meeting is the annual “Meet the Industry Night,” and is a great way to network with local businesses and potential employers.

Scholarship applications are available for download and submission in late summer, with the actual deadline being the 2nd Friday in December.  Students will be notified of their application status by late December, and the winner(s) will be announced in January.  Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary one-year CLA student membership, and must attend the January member meeting (second Tuesday) for recognition.
